Before this show Lee's Tahitian was strictly a 21+ venue. I talked with Ming (the owner) and convinced him to do all ages shows since the bar was a completely seperate room. We really needed it too. I think for all of 1998 and 1999 we didn't have alot of places to do all ages shows. Ming just wanted to make sure that no kids got into the bar area so we basically used the old D.C. policy from the 80's of drawing a big black X on the underage kids hands. Worked great! We ran shows here for about a year I think. Ryan Phillips of then Faux Pas (currently Crystal Skulls) was a huge part in this. He always seemed to be able to come up with a PA for the shows. Super fun times. Lees Tahitian was smaller than 321. Every show we did here was packed to the door. I eventually quit running shows here because Ming ripped me off of the door money one night.
